Meet The Team

BNG Units Limited is a family-run business with over 35 years of experience in property development across Cambridgeshire. Our family was already investing in the natural world long before Biodiversity Net Gain became a legal requirement. We managed established wilding projects on our own farm, planting thousands of native trees and restoring hedgerows and wildflower meadows for the simple love of it.
That background gives us something no broker can offer: a genuine understanding of both sides of the BNG equation. As experienced developers, we know the pressures you face. As conscientious land stewards, we know what it truly takes to deliver and sustain meaningful ecological improvements. Unlike intermediaries, we own, manage and are accountable for every habitat we offer. We’re committed to the restoration of natural woodland regrowth, enriched hedgerows and flourishing wildflower meadows.
Angus Dudley
Angus grew up on the family farm, helping to plant saplings and tend the land from an early age. He went on to gain hands-on construction experience working for the family’s development business, Dudley Developments. He eventually progressed to managing complex refurbishment and new-build projects across Cambridge. Angus founded BNG Units Ltd in 2024 after recognising early on that the Environment Act 2021 would present a significant challenge for the development sector. His aim? To make BNG compliance straightforward, reliable and genuinely beneficial to nature.
Sean Dudley
Sean has spent over 35 years building and developing primarily in the Cambridge area. Since the early 2000s, his focus expanded beyond construction to nature creation and land management- overseeing an ambitious planting programme that has seen more than 20,000 native trees, shrubs and hedging plants establish across the family farm. Time spent in Tanzania’s national parks early in his life sparked Sean’s enduring drive to restore and enhance the natural environment. At BNG Units Limited, he brings both his development knowledge and his passion for biodiversity to help guide the business and support developers in meeting their obligations responsibly.
